Pick a root and a scale — the fretboard lights up every place those notes live. Everything else is optional. Here's the map:
Position
A 4–5 fret window so you drill one hand-shape at a time. You're starting at Position 1 — widen to Full neck when you're ready.
Labels
Switch Notes → Degrees to see each note's job (1 is the root, then b3, 5…) instead of its name.
In this key
The chords that belong to your scale. Tap them to build a progression, or hit Random.
Hear it
Tap a note — or focus it with Tab and press Enter — to play it. Play scale runs your current position; step a progression and watch each chord's tones ring.
Try this first: A Minor Pentatonic · Position 1 · slow the tempo · tap along, then Play scale.
